- Comprehensive advanced congestive heart failure disease management clinic where medical therapy is optimized prior to determination if cardiac transplantation is indicated.

- Only approved Destination Therapy Program in San Antonio that utilizes HeartMate® Left Ventricular Assist Device as a bridge to transplant or transplant alternative; also experienced with Thoratec®, Abiomed®, and cath lab inserted ventricular assist devices.
- Active site for on-going clinical research trials for heart failure patients that focus on optimal medical therapies, infusion therapies, and mechanical assist devices.
